BPPA Awards 2007

The Annual British Professional Photographers Awards 2007 were held in Newcastle upon Tyne last weekend. To date this was the biggest and the best event ever held. Congratulations must go to MPA and the BIPP for organising such a gala event. The entries for the competition were just world class and I am sure the judges would have had a tough time choosing the winners.

The trade show was quite busy with many photographers from around the world visiting our stand and showing great interest in Foto SF.

Nikon D3 – My 1st Wedding

I recently shot a wedding with a D3. All I can say is WOW. This is an unbelievable camera. I had intended to use the D3 just to test the camera but somehow ended up shooting half the wedding with it!! My beloved D2Xs almost took the back seat! I had great fun with the D3 and now I can shoot what I like, when I like and where I like. Please bear in mind that these images have been shot in JPEG as at present there is no RAW converter and secondly no post-processing has been done to these images. They are ‘as shot’. The results pleasantly surprised me and I can say that the shooting style of Nikon shooters will change, there is no doubt about that. So here are some images:

Launched on the 5th Birthday of our business SF Digital. This would not have been possible without a great team. Myself & Farzana would like to thank Russell, Tony, Carl & Martin for their hard work and input into this project. It has been quite a learning curve and we feel that we have managed to achieve what we had planned, to create an easy to use database for photographers to run their business.
