Photo Fest, Dublin

20 April 08 – Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin hosted the Photo Fest Trade Fair. This is one of the biggest trade fairs in Ireland and was hosted by Irish Photo News. I was invited by Bermingham Cameras to showcase Foto SF to their clients. The day was very very busy with over 1000+ visitors attending the show. There were also many seminars presented throughout the day which included 4 presentations by John McDonald of Nikon UK.

Pro Workshops, Apple Store, Regent Street, London

This workshop will concentrate on how to create simple and creative images using simple lighting techniques with minimal of equipment and gear. Whether you are a novice who is interested in photography or a Pro who is looking for new ideas and inspiration, then this workshop is for you.

British Institute of Professional Photography

Thank you to all who attended this day long seminar at the Head Office of BIPP in Aylesbury. Quite handy to have the head office of BIPP just 10 mins away !! Nikon Pro Magazine

In the April issue of the Nikon Pro Magazine, the article “30 Minutes and counting” is printed which gives insight into the shoot which took place at the London Eye using the Nikon D3 late last year and the image resulted in me winning the “UK Environmental Portrait Photographer of the Year” Award.

MPA – Coventry & Falkirk

This event organised by the Master Photographers Association was held at Coventry & Falkirk featuring Bambi Cantrell. Bambi is one of the world’s leading female photographers and is the only lady to be presented by Microsoft as “Icons of Photography” Award.

Her talk / presentation were truly inspirational and all those present will agree that Bambi truly is a legend of our industry.

A big Thank You to MPA for organising these events and all the hard work put into it.
