Today I arrived in Kiruna, Sweden for probably an adventure of a lifetime. This is the first time I’m here and the initial thoughts & reactions are amazing. This place is wonderful. The Ice Hotel is a very special place and is worth visiting. I’ve got a jam-packed next few days. Tomorrow Jenny from Nikon & Natalie from Digital Photographer Wedding arrive here and we’ll be pushing the Nikon D3s to its limits. Then we have a safari with the husky sledging and then a trip on the snow mobiles to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights.
On Friday I shoot a wedding of Claire & James at The Ice Hotel. Saturday we travel back to London and then I’m off to Europe’s largest Convention for photographers in Hammersmith. Foto SF is exhibiting at the trade show, so please do come and see us. I’ve got my Masterclass at 8.00am on Sunday so will try not to have a late one on Saturday! I say this every year and it never works!!!
On Monday I’m at the Apple Store, Regent Street, London from 7.00-8.00pm to talk about my adventures in the Arctic. On Tuesday I’m off to N.Yorkshire to do a presentation for the British Institute of Professional Photograhers. Then on late Wednesday, home sweet home at last.
Please do log back tomorrow and I’ll try and upload some images from here.
